Grand Canyon Air Tour

One way to really explore the Grand Canyon is by an air tour.  There are two different types of Grand Canyon air tours available.

The first Grand Canyon air tour offers you the most luxury and comfort.  You can take a small airplane to see the Grand Canyon National Park.  As there are so many different sights to see in this part of the country, including Hoover Dam and Las Vegas, many people choose to take an air tour over the Grand Canyon.

There are many different packages available when you take a Grand Canyon air tour by small airplane.  You can take the plane from Las Vegas, or closer to the Grand Canyon, depending on what type of package you are looking for.  Taking an air tour by small airplane is a safe and comfortable way to see the magnificence of the park, which really has to be viewed from the sky to be appreciated.

Another way to take a Grand Canyon air tour is to do so by helicopter.  Helicopter tours of the Grand Canyon are affordable and fun.  This is a good way to see the inner part of the Grand Canyon as helicopters can go where airplanes cannot and can actually land inside of the valley of the canyon.

Some people enjoy the flexibility a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon offers.  In addition to seeing the natural splendor of the Grand Canyon, tourists can also take advantage of a Grand Canyon air tour to observe the Native American culture that is found throughout the area.  Many of the air tours by helicopter will land and allow you to explore parts of the Grand Canyon, which was considered holy ground by the Hopi Indians.

Although the Grand Canyon is six million years old, there is also more recent history to be observed when visiting this national park.  You may want to tour one of the century old buildings that are located in the Southern Rim of the Grand Canyon.  Many of these buildings were built at the time the area was designated a national park.

If you decide to take a Grand Canyon air tour, either by helicopter or by airplane, be sure to bring a camcorder as well as a still camera and plenty of film or an extra digital card to make sure you can get the best pictures.  A Grand Canyon air tour is the scenic trip of a lifetime for most people and you will want to remember as much as you can about the adventure through photographs.

Grand Canyon air tours are surprisingly affordable and there are packages available for most budgets.  The only way to truly see the magnificence of this natural wonder is through the air.  The Grand Canyon is one of the few places on earth that is actually visible from outer space and is well worth seeing at least once in a lifetime.

You have to actually see the Grand Canyon in able to describe the beauty of the different colored rocks and mountainous boulders that have taken millions of years to erode, and photos can only do the canyon a certain amount of justice.  The ultimate sightseeing tour of a lifetime is available when you take a Grand Canyon air tour, either by airplane or helicopter.  It is the premier way to see this magnificent natural wonder.
